50 Books to Read Before You Die

I’ve always been quite fond of lists. And recently I came across a bookmark that lists “50 Books to Read Before You Die”. In the past I’ve seen some of the larger lists, but they seem somewhat daunting. Fifty books (although some are series, so it’s actually a little more) seems manageable.

I’ve read some of these books before, but for the purposes of the list I plan to reread them. Without further ado, the list:

I admit, I’m surprised by a few of the entries in this list, but I’m willing to give them a shot. I hope to complete the list and review the books within two years as quite a bit of it seems to be heavy reading.
